i was wondering if any of you have any experience with the balisong (butterfly) knife from the phillipines. i guess i'm pretty handy with one, but i was wondering if anyone has got some good sites about "tricks"

why would you want to bother with any tricks?

the things you should be practising is your regular knife defence and attack to familiarise yourself with that blade, and practise drawing and sheathing

ive heard a tale of a filipino artist who draws, opens, stabs, closes and sheathes his balisong all in what appears to be a thrust and pulling back,

that is the closest to a trick that i can envision practising
