Naturally I think I that intercepting whatever you can is a great idea. I guess I'm all for it. Is that the answer you were looking for?
Keep in mind that interception is really a simple concept and can be done with a myriad of techniques. One of my favorites is the elbow spike (elbow destruction).
Thoughts?

Elbows are great for interception. If you have a touch of classical training, you can use Knifehands as well.

Intercepting is good and all, but if you press the attack, I think that is better.
I would rather make the opponenet do the intercepting, if you know what I mean.

Sure, but sometimes you have to intercept to make it possible to press. We arent always givin the luxury of the first attack.

As a guy with a reach, interception is really key for me. I might even say that its the fundemental aspect of my fighting, until I get into trapping.
