How long has everyone here been involved with JKD? The style which I practice is called Fang Shen Do, it was developed by Sijo Patenaude, who originally trained under Dan Inosanto. He also has extensive knowledge in western boxing and grappling, as well as weapons.

Please tell me about your training. I love too hear how others train.

I first began training in JKD when I was 16. I'm in my late thirties now.

It's been a real evolution of sorts also through the years. I've gone from being a Jun Fan guy to having almost dropped all of the Jun Fan (wing chun) curriculum.

Is it still JKD? Of course it is as I still adhere steadfast to the underlying philosophy and concepts.

It's been an amazing journey of discovery and I believe that's exactly what Lee wanted for his followers.
