It's ok, but I felt it was overrated. And dont be fooled by the stress on Jet Li's character, he's the main protagonist but it's more of an ensemble piece with a large focus on several other characters.

ok i only saw the end of a TV commercial for it. the 3 seconds i saw looked good but can sum1 explain wth its about etc?

Its set in couple of hundreds of years ago I think 220-230 BC pardon my hazzy history lesson. Back then there are 6 kingdoms at war with each other within central china with the Qin kingdom dominating in the end. Through out the battles other kingdoms has sent assassins to kill emperor of Qin but failed. This is a story of one such attempts and the realisation that on when all kingdoms are eliminated and united peace would come. I've seen it, pretty good cinematography, mediocre fight seens though. Only Jet Li and another actor can't remember name can really fight.

Yeah, the fight between Jet Li and Donnie Yuen is nice. The others were ok, nice to watch, but heavy on the wires and floating. I also agree about the cinematography, Hero is easily one of the prettiest films I've seen.

I can't wait to see hero.

Donnie Yen is awesome! He is good in; In the Line of Duty 4, Iron Monkey, and Wing Chun also.
