But I was gonna start lessons soon and was wondering these questions! Please reply! Thanks! ^_^

Most Hakama for training are black, however I have seen Blue as well. Actually saw a denim one and wanted it real bad but it was custom made. However, I have seen others as well. Sanuces ryu students have all sorts of Hakama with all sorts of design. I have also seen a light grey from Japan that was beautiful and about $200. Most Martial Art stores offer Black or Blue and about $60-$75. Unless you are female, most systems don't allow Hakama until Shodan, but I have seen some allow it at Brown Belt.

Weapons are usually Boken and Jo, along with knife takeaway. these are relatively cheap unless you go for the better ones. A jo and Boken should run abot $40 for both.
