Hey i thought it would be good to do muay thai as well so you wont have to kick more than you punch also even more parts attack. heard balancing is key.

do you think its alright?

im not saying real kickboxing since there isnt one here but from videoes and punching bags i might as well do it myself

Hey Bong,

I'm a Thai/American, a long time Tae Kwon Do practicionar, and a student of brazilian jujitsu and judo.

In my opinion it's a great idea to cross train with western boxing or muay thai. In fact I've been training in both arts since I was a child. TKD offers an awsome kicking arssenal combined with speedy foot work and Muay Thai can complement with powerful knees and elbows for close quater fighting.

Good luck and always contiue to train hard!

Sincerely,

elbowko

Adding muay thai to your bag of trix would be a great idea. Thai boxers are some of the best standup fighters in the world. Their close quarter techniques, elbows knees and headbutts, are no nonsense end the fight quickly techniques. Add in brutal thai kicks to the knees and thighs and you got an effective system that works. It would be a compliment to any martial artist looking to add more effectiveness to thier style.
