How are you srichards. I am a begginer and so i havent reasurched leg waits very much. I asked my master about them and he told me that although they can help with speed they may also cause permanant damage to your joints. He recomends using heavy shoes such as ski boots while performing the kicks slowly, as this should strengthen the muscles used for kicking.
