the same gichin funakoshi who purposly helped "water down" real karate to teach it to school children and the japanese captors???? who purposely left out the truth of what karate is and its real secrets and most deadly techniques?....read his earlier books...they are quite different.

shotokan is NOT real okinawan karate....its japanese and watered down and it is so...intentionally.

You are right...

It was actaully a PR exercise for the Japanese army - new recruits what do they do, march up and down....they feel strong and powerful with low stances and loud shouting.
