When I was 12 there were a group of boys that chased me home from school for ¾ of the school year. I would always get a good head start by leaving the school building in a new way. By the time they could see me leave I had a good 100 meters head start on them. And they never caught me. One day, I never figured out how, they got ahead of me and I ran right into them. They surrounded me and as it turned out only one of them wanted to fight me. Tired of running I told the other boy to do something or leave me alone. I wasn’t diplomatic. I had just had enough of running and was a bit ticked that day. I let him know that I wanted to be left alone and I would leave him alone. To my amazement they let me go and for the first time in 8 months I walked home.
From this I found out that I was a good runner and my dad goaded me for the next few years till I was in high school and eventually became a track and Cross Country champion. Running became a way of life for me till I was 25. But it originated with a couple bullies.
So my advice is to look for something good that can come from this, avoid them, or just confront them on a non-combative way with an adult or 2 such as your and or there parents. Tell them that you don’t mean them any harm and you would rather get along or avoid one another.
