hi just wondering if any of u have actually injrued ur necks bfore.What will u do ur thrown head first? normaly i will tuck my head in and pray to god that nothing happens to me LOL!

Actually, I injured my neck weight training, not doing Judo. After 9 months off and lots of medical attention, it still hurts. So I am doing Judo despite the pain. Last night (during/after practice), however, it hurt more than it has in a while. I'm gonna keep going, but I am also going to get an MRI ASAP.

Dragon you neck aint something you can mess about with pal. It's not like your wee finger or anything. I think you should stop attending judo and then get your mri scan. I know the thought of stopping your art probably panics you, i know it panics me. But if you mess your neck up your screwed pal.
Currently i have a sore neck, but not due to a throw, due to stretching. (on my back, using my neck to bridge up-just held it too long)

Thanks for the concern Bear. I was considering taking some more time off, but I fall backwards so fast in terms of training. I can't stand to miss anymore. I will go ASAP to get the attention I need...possibly after I get home from the mountains (I'm going Saturday to Monday). Thanks again for the concern, I'll let you know what happens with the MRI.

Yeah. I got spinal concusion from a judo guy throwing me. Put me off for a while, but nothing stops me from training.
