Well. There is a Ryu guide on http://www.koryu.com As far as what each ryu-ha stresses, the only answer your gonna get is staying alive and the destruction of your opponent. That's the focus of all koryu sword arts. Now as to how they go about accomplishing that... that's an unanswerable question. The information simply isn't available in any meaningful form.

The ryu-ha were proprietary closed systems. Until the last century most did not allow outsiders to train at all, much less give out ryu secrets to just anybody.
