Anonymous Unregistered	K well im trying to get my stepmom to bring back a Katana from China and I was wondering if anyone knows well how it works? Some say its prohibited and others say its alright. Anyone that knows the topic, help me out?

Do not lie about having it, and tell the truth about what it is you have in your bag. if you have documentation about being a member of a martial arts club, bring it to show you have some legitimate reason for having a sword. That's all, you shouldn't have any trouble if you follow all these steps

Anonymous Unregistered	Well I have had problems with bringing Bokuto into Toronto and an over officious customs guy. I should have reported it. I pass that way again next May. If I goes smooth I will let it go. I tried to be honest but he insisted I should have declared them as weapons. Best of luck.
