Anonymous Unregistered	I bought a katana for practice for about 250$ canadian. At genesport. But I can't know if its hard enough to be used has a weapon. I select a non-sharp blade cause of my unexperience in the art of Iaido. But still, could you guys teach how to know if it is a real of fake one? It has been maded in japan thought...

Charles Mahan Professional Poster Registered: 06/14/04 Posts: 2502 Loc: Denton, Tx, USA	Well if you're training in Iai, the most sure way is to show it to your instructor. If you paid $250 for it and it's not an iaito, it's most likely not suited for the rigors of regular iai practice.

Anonymous Unregistered	I don't have a school. I bought a book after ive bought the sword. I think it's for iaido but I can't really say what kind of katana it is. Anyway to know it ?
