Is there such a thing as an 'ohm style' or the 'wu-tang sword style'.If there is, according to the Wu-Tang Clan it is, and I quote:

ahem... "Immune to almost any weapon. When properly used its almost invincible!"

Any thoughts on that?

Retrieving memories from my misspent youth here, but didn't the wu-tang base much of their Kung Fu stuff on old movies, rather than authentic styles? I'd take the descriptions of styles with a pinch or two of salt Top tunes though.

They do Charles, but aren't those old kung-fu movies utilising actual martial art styles?

hmm, I'm no expert, but my feeling is that they may use them as a base, but there's a whole lot of Movie-Fu styles overlaid..!

In the quote you are referring to it is not in reference to the Wu Tang Sword Style. It is from a movie called the Five Deadly Venoms and it is the Toad Style. Watch the first 5 minutes of the movie and you will see what I mean. Watch out with those Wu tang quotes they will string ones from different movies together. I own just about every movie that they draw those quotes from. In regards to the Wu Tang Sword Style it does exist, it is the Sword techniques of Tai Chi Chuan.

Wu tang is the art of fighting with invisible swords. It was in fact a true style taught in the wu tang temple

Yes there is such a thing as Wudang(Wu-Tang) sword. No, the sword is not invisable, lol. It's got some similarities to taiji sword and was most likely the sword style taiji sword came from. There's no one wudang style, so there's numerous wudang sword forms out there. Here's an example of the more common modern form. While mostly based off of traditional wudang sword, I think some additional taiji & bagua was added in a couple places(frist 40-50 seconds is straight up taiji sword, and around 1:35 and a couple other places are some bagua sword techniques). http://www.jiayo.com/videos/wudong_jian.mpg
