No, not a suggestion to open a new forum here (although I might get some support).

I've recently become interested in learning a little bit about firearms. My knowledge right now is limited to the direction they shoot and what a trigger looks like. I wouldn't even recognize a safety (dangerous ignorance, at best).

Basically, I would like suggestions of other forums that you might be a part of or have seen whilst surfing. I believe I could learn a great deal in the background just by watching the experts talk.

Any good forums that you know of, please, just let me know. (Don't worry guys, I'll still visit at least once a day!)

Beware! Unfortunately, the Kook Factor on a gun forum can blow away that of the average MA forum. Take what you read with a grain of salt.

If i were you I wouldnt rely on a forum for technical info on somethign such as a gun. Just search the web, try google. Also be sure to learn about ammunitions such as fmj, sjhp, the different calibers and the such.
