What state are you in if you don't mind me asking? I know most of the DSI folks...and just about all of the instructors.
I don't mean to start any flame wars here...so DKI folks don't send me any nasty emails or messages...I am just going to state my opinion as to the DKI vs. DSI issue.
I know George [Dillman] and have crossed hands with him. Also, I know and have crossed hands with lots of his senior yudansha (6th dan and above). For me, I find the paradigm and teaching that the DKI promotes as more a "monkey see, money do" type of situation. George teaches from a vastly Western Medicine perspective and then tosses in a mish-mash of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Alot of the TCM side he/they get totally wrong. After looking at both sides and training with both sides, I made the personal decision that the TCM paradigm is what worked best, what explained things the best and that the instructors there were more capable. Again, that is my opinion. I think that others from the DKI side could say the exact opposite. That is my opinion. I suggest that you do the same and form your own. I am not saying that George or the DKI people do not have talent or ability, I am just simply stating why it is that I went the way that I did.
