you said it Wado. we call them tekki, but the naihanchi/tekki kata are my faves.

i can't stand heian nidan, don't know why, i just have a disliking for it...

It was 9 years actually!!!

As for me my favourite tends to be the one that I've recently discovered a new application from.
Kanku dai I like, (good fighting kata) Empi and Hangetsu, also.
Unsu is probably the most flashy what with that jump type somersaulty, thing.
