The only thing I do consistently is when an undisciplined fighter goes southpaw on me and I use footwork to set up on the outside of the right foot, then use the reverse punch to isolate, freeze, and trap leaving the head open for a short, sharp left cross or ridgehand.
Everthing else is a progression of reads that leads to one of only three techniques that I ever use and those are hitting techniques not "set-up" techniques. That's a pure waste of technique and practice.
