Hi, theres a kumite tournament in Germany soon, and our team might be going down there to be in the tournament. I was wondering about what the rules are, and any tips about fighting in kumite style. Thanks!
there are about 300 different "styles" of kumite, find out from the orginizers of the event what the rules are and then we might be able to give you some advice as to how to fight within the rule structure. some things to know would be level of contact and weather or not the ref will "stop" the fight every time a point is scored or it could be continous till a k.o.
besides, im sure your instrctor and training partners are better help than an internet forum.
