I take USSD kempo and will soon be a green/brown stripe. I will also start taking another, considerably less commercialized martial art soon to supplement what I know and to advance further in martial arts. I've been looking to compete in something other than USSD tournaments, and have discovered the California Gold Cup for Karate http://www.goldcupcircuit.com/ This looks very interesting to me, but my main concern is if I'll be eligibible for competition with simply my current USSD training. Anybody competed here? Also, what about forms? Can I do USSD forms?

This post seems to be a few weeks old...
but, most tournaments are open to any style. Just be sure to read the rules of engagement before registering to a particular event....

It is an open tournament, so I would assume that it is open to any set of forms. Nothing in the rules sheet says otherwise. The best thing to do would be to contact the organisation by going to http://www.goldcupcircuit.com/contact.shtml
