helpful hints? - 04/21/06 01:29 PM

in my school we have P.E. We dont do much as i thought a submission match might be fun. the way you win is to get the other guy to tap or get him out of the ring we made. We have a full time ref and the matches are from weight class and skill. Well, i havent lost yet but some of the guys i buck heads with are 20 to 50 pounds heaver then I. So im wondering if any of you have any helpful hints on a good way to get a ring out. Such as a stance or move.

Thank you

Have a nice, low staggered wrestlers stance. Feet about shoulder width apar.
Never move back, move to the sides a lot, side to side in a crescent type of pattern, or pressure into them. keep you head up, and attack the legs a lot, ankle pics are great, single leg and double leg takedowns, just the basics, also arm drags are really good. Just remeber the basics and good body mechanics, and stay mobil. Also, always try to fight for hand control, keep control of their hands and arms, and NEVER give them control of oyur hands, keep your elbos in not flared out. Don't swing your arms out wide either.
Hope this helps, remeber to be aggressive to.
