I know that reiki is going to read this and I wanted to ask her about this 'scanning' thing that I've heard about.
Chi can be exchanged for cash through teaching tai-chi or performing chi related healing arts. Is that what you meant?

Scanning is normally done as level 2 and above reiki practice where you run your hands over the patient to feel disturbances or other problems in the aura and chakras.
It can be done in person or remotely.
NOTE Level 1 practioners can only do it in person.
