i was wondering what is the correct form when throwing a haymaker,cross,and hook punch? with these punches can you a vertical fist like with a jab?

I would say that the correct form for any of those strikes is the one that hurts your opponent! LOL! I have practiced all of those punches as both vertical and horizontal, and found that they work equally well. Just depends on the situation.

In my own training and bag work I do find it better to use a vertical shaped fist when doing hooks, mainly because it helps to keep my elbow closer to my body and not leave my ribs open, plus I have also been taught that the vertical shape is better in any punch type attack due to the muscles and bones not crossing over - my Sensei says anything crossed is crossed energy which makes it weaker.
