I remember seeing a post on this web site about this Burmese(Myanmar) martial art before, but I don't think it would be very helpful.

Have you tried just doing a google search?

HI! I'M A BEGINNER IN THIS FORUM. I AM INTERESTED IN MYANMAR TRADITIONAL BOXING, YAW-YAN, ARNIS, BUNO, WESTERN BOXING AND MUAY THAI. AM I ON THE RIGHT FORUM?

You are in the right place for arnis, you may want to check out some of the other areas of the forum.

Can you please turn off the caps lock key, it is like you are shouting at everyone and it's very hard to read.

You might want to contact Phil Dunlap, he's a member of this forum. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to Burmese arts.

His member name is Phildunlap, go ahead and pm him.

Yes, it is.

Sorry for the late reply.

If you were to learn something, learn from him.

Another thing, show some respect by properly capitalizing his name. Phil Dunlap. (I'm being a grammar nazi right now, so be careful)

The best source is Vincent Giordano who has travel extensively throughout Burma for the last 10 years or so, and is compiling a book on the bare knuckle fightiing arts of india, cambodia, thailand, bburma, and laos. He is a true source because he trained it and lived it. He has an email newsletter as well try him at blackdiamondcobra@yahoo.com, he also has available to his members dvds he made of fights, and various events.
