Silat Gradings???

I was lucky enough to attend a Silat class before Christmas, but due to Judo commitments, I have been unable to attend since. I will be able to go back to it at the end of the month though

How often do you grade in Silat? I have heard mention of Phases, then upon complete these, a sash rank system is used. I understand gradings will vary from style to style, but I would be glad to hear of any Silat practioners and how they grade (how often you grade, what you need to know etc) It'll help me balance my Judo and Silat.
