“They” are writing that the Governor of Wisconsin is trying to “essentially get rid of collective bargaining rights.”
When I listened to his televised speech it sounded much more like he wanted to get rid of automatic entitlements.
Even with the state likely to go down the tubes financially, the union entitlements including automatic tenure raises, will get paid to the union members. No wonder the union heads are protesting. And the heck with the kids.
