Storm, I won't add anything at this time but I love Supernatural and I love the Highlander.

Oh what the hell. These are the ones I grew up with and emulated though they are not movie heroes but I loved them the same ... sorry for getting your post off track.

1. Steve Austin - The Bionic Man
2. Spiderman - The cartoon character I grew up with in the 70's
3. Little Joe - Bonanza
4. Starbuck - Original Battlestar Galactica
5. The Lone Ranger - 1949-1959 (Clayton Moore)

Re: Your top 5 movie Heros - 04/25/07 01:56 AM

Great topic. I have a lot of movie hero's, but here goes my top 5 for the day:

1. Marv- Sin City
2. Indiana Jones
3. Wolverine
4. Gandalf
5. Leonidas

I have always been drawn to anti-hero's, and people who see the world in black and white, and people who stand their ground against a Balrog and shout 'YOU SHALL NOT PAAAAASSS!!!!' Gandalf would have made a kick a$$ nightclub doorman

Ask me again tomorrow and my top 5 will be different, or expand the list to a top 100 and prepare for a long post

For number one, got to go with Ash from Army of Darkness. Bruce campbell was da shiznik in this.

1. Ash - Army of Darkness
2. Kowalski - Vanishing Point
3. Chris Tucker - Rush Hour 1 & 2
4. Charles Bronson - Mr Majestyk
5. Buford Pusser - Walking Tall

I have a few more but these are the stand outs. These movies really had an impact on me and I still watch them all regularly.

Some other notbales:
Legolas - Lord of the Rings
Steve Mcqueen - Bullitt, The Magnificent Seven
Clint Eastwood - in anything but especially as Dirty Harry or the man with no name from the old spaghetti westerns.

Why do I have the funny feeling that something's not quite right about your top 5?
