The English boxer who once floored Ali has died. Shame, we'll not see his like again.

Anyone who can count to ten knows that Cooper KO'd Clay in their first fight. Bad reffing and questionable corner tactics saved Ali.

There was more to Cooper than that though. A fine British Champion,(the only boxer to ever win 3 lonsdale belts outright) he became a national treasure, and one of the best ambassadors the sport of boxing will ever see - and 'enry's 'ammer (cockney accent: Henry's hammer) was one of the best left hands in the history of the sport.

A true gent, and a true legend, RIP frown

Very sad and a big lost for boxing and the wider community. He was a fine heavyweight boxer and has been stated he transcended his sport in a way very few other people do.

A legend of British boxing and he maintained a high profile after his boxing career was over.

He fought Ali tough in those fights, but his one downfall was that he cut very easily, and bled all over the place.
