semi solo training - 01/14/08 07:52 AM

First off I want to say Hi to everybody, looks to be a good forum, I looked around for a while before I found a spot with an acceptable format and group. I got about 4 years or so of experience in Muay Thai and Boxing, but I am by no means expert. I trained a little in Thailand too. I am just now starting again after about 2 years of doing little because I ripped my rotator cuff and had to get it sewed back, but honestly it still hurts the same and I think there are various things wrong with it. Anyway, I decided to start training again, even if my involvement is limited.

I'm living in a real small city, there is no gym to train Muay Thai. But a few guys with some experience are here and we will form a type of club, we got some bags too. I was thinking of doing lots of attack and defense type drills... and we will of course do shadowboxing, jump rope, bag work, etc... seperately. Later we will do sparring and clinch work. What does everybody think? Any ideas? The majority right now wants to train more without gloves(real light) and I guess that would imply more slipping and forearm blocking. Plus everybody is too poor to buy stuff for now. I want to put together some lists of combos and counters and then just work throught them each time, could be cool right?

Thanks for any responses...:)
