Usual Training Methods - 07/21/07 02:51 AM

I've only read about one or two usual training methods boxers undergo and I was wondering if anyone knew any more?

The only one that comes to mind is chicken chasing. At first I thought it was just something added for comedic value in Rocky II, but it seems that the idea came from an actual training method used by boxers a long time ago.

Edit

I meant to title the thread Unusual Training Methods.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as being weird but what about shadowboxing with 2 kilo weights with a ping pong ball under your chin? the idea is to help keep your chin down an "safe" its harder than it sounds especially gettin the shoulder rotation rite without dropping the ball
