Re: Boxing / Kickboxing links - 01/31/09 06:14 AM
OK
1. These links are not to anything directly related to kickboxing or boxing
2. The guy in them is very talented, but anyone can look good against people who are not hitting back.
3. We get it already, you want us to visit your website- you have asked everyone from the judo forum, the aikido forum, the kickboxing forum, the self defense forum, the JKD forum and others.
Tell you what, if you actually want to contribute to this website, then prove it in your next post. If all you want to do is pimp your links, then you will be banned, and all your links deleted.
Post 13 will be as unlucky as you make it.

Hi,
I dont expect to visit the southern hemisphere on the opposite side of the world any time soon, but as you live and train there.....A QUESTION...
The indigenous Australian Aborigines have a unique concept of time and the "dream time" and their Mandalas have been documented and studied by Carl Jung...
YOU MUST HAVE encountered some form of aboriginal warrior culture and it's fighting arts either as fighting like the Mongols, not rituals just technique, or perhaps ritualistic and hidden in their dance or other display of "reenactment of tribal or hunting retelling".
As I'll never "Fight Mike" I only find interest in what aboriginal fighting theory/technique has survived from the dream time till now...Can you help me or is this massive plague on this site of 'fightmike' who I will never live to see through the hubble telescope, let alone meet and even less desire to fight some weird aussie internet way of sayin "hey mate, lets fight"....
I am truly interested if the indigenous aboriginal peoples have a style of combat not recorded by history and if the answer is "they dont", b2121970356!!!!!, they must, they just wont teach it to callow upstarts w/nno humility or manners..????
OR am I so far of base I owe everyone an apology, even the readers of this reply??
Karl. Peace sucks, truth sucks more.

There are some nice clips from a new burmese boxing dvd coming out. I think they are great sort of short movies from the piece. its nice to see the bare knuckle variants.
http://www.youtube.com/BornWarriorsMoviealso the Facebook is done in an interesting way with more details and less sell, actually no sell on there which is refreshing. Both links are not selling anything right now
http://www.facebook.com/BornWarriorsMovieI liked both links.

Best Muay Thai channel on YT is Sylvie VonDuuglas-Ittu.
Im not affiliated with her in any way, im adding her to this list because if you want to learn about muay thai either from the perspective of understanding the techniques or from understanding what it means to be a fighter, then you need to check her out.
