Anyone familiar with Lloyd Irvin's school in MD? - 05/05/07 03:22 PM

I just had a quick question. I’ll be relocating to Maryland (St. Charles-Waldorf area) in the near future and I’ve been looking for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in the area. The only school I could find online is Lloyd Irvin’s in Temple Hills, MD.

Anybody have any experience with Irvin’s school? Know of any other schools in the southern Maryland area?

Here’s his webpage: http://www.lloydirvin.com/adult/bjj/index.html

ANY feedback/thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

A buddy of mine who recently moved to DC and who is an accomplished grappler now trains with Lloyd Irvin. He speaks very highly of Master Irvin, and the accomplishments of his students like Mike Fowler and Ryan Hall should give you some idea of the caliber of his students.

I wish he'd open a school in York, PA. I'd train there in a heartbeat.

Thanks Todd.

Always nice to get a push in the right direction when you're moving to a new area.

Now that I think about it, I saw A Lloyd Irvin's brown belt roll at the Bullshido throwdown I went to. He seemed very sharp, and a nice guy.
