May I ask?

May I ask? - 05/02/06 07:44 PM

What was so offensive or deleterious about my last post -

I never made any flippant comment on it.

To put a question on the grappling forum seemed appropriate since it was about grappling.

Has this forum degenerated so far that if you disagree with a moderator about martial arts you get kyboshed???

I'm not playing games. I want answers.

So you guys think you are finished if you are fighting but two opponents and it goes to the ground?

Hey,

take a look at this link:

I think it'll answer your question.

Oh yes, the "lay down and let them run roughshod over you" article.

May I ask a favourite question of John Kogas - were they skilled opponents and NOT BUMS???

The best defense against determined, skilled attackers is to lie down and cop it?

Against a group of determined, skilled attackers, the limitations of that tactic would come out. If one person can kick the crap out of a bag, how does offering you spine to two or three of them help?

Go to a grappling school and find them.

I would have to agree. As this thread is simply an offshoot of a thread that was locked, this thread is now locked as well.

If someone else feels that the initial locking was in error, explain it in PM and I'll review it with other mods.
