My jiu-jitsu instructor is opening a gracie barra jiu-jitsu class, can you guy's tell me a little about it?

You will have to specify who your instructor is, what level he is and who his instructor is.
Gracie Barra is a large group that is headed by Carlos Gracie Jr. Notable Black Belts that have come out of Gracie Barra are Ralph, Renzo and Roger Gracie, The Machado Brothers, Soneca Moreira, Elvis Schembri, Eduardo De Lima, etc.
They are a different camp than the Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy (Helio, Rorion, Royce, Royler), Carlson Gracie Team, Brazilian Top Team, American Top Team, Alliance, Nova Uniao, etc.
I would suggest checking the class out.
