Yang Tai Chi videos help needed - 01/31/10 01:39 PM

I've been away from MA and these forums for a looooooooooong time. Anyway, I trained in Yang and Ch'ang Tai Chi years ago. I was a beginner/intermediate student.

I still don't have a lot of free time for training so I am looking for quality dvds to help me pick up what I have lost. I know I won't find and Ch'ang dvds. Dr. Weng has a vhs series apparently but you can't seem to actually buy them anywhere.

Since I also dabbled in Yang, and there is a great deal of material available, I am leaning toward that route.

Can anyone recommend a good dvd or series? I am most interested in short 24 and 42, long, and a staff form. Preferably by the same person for consistency, if possible.

(yes, I know face to face instruction is best but it's just not feasible at this time).

Thanks in advance.

You could try looking on YMAA.com . Dr. Yang Jwing-Ming has quite a large dvd library covering Yang style training. Staff, yin/yang symbol training, silk reeling, pushing hands, chin na, and long form all included in the series. I have trained with Dr. Yang and know his material to be top notch. Hope it helps.

Thanks.

I've leaning toward YMAA since discovering them on Amazon.
