6 ji hands

I'm not a practitioner of these styles so please go easy on me. I would like a link or explanation to 6 ji hands. I would like to know what they are mechanically, and applications. I do not have a copy of the Bubishi. If the material is best found there, I would like to know which version is the best. There are several and they differ quite a bit. If it is unclear what I am looking for, because I don't know enough to be able to ask the question clearly, 3 of the hand positions are: blood pool hand, one blade of grass hand and iron bone hand. I hope that is enough information so that someone can help me out. Thank you.
