Australian Shaolin Kempo Kung Fu

Hi I am studying a style of Kung Fu called Kemka Shalom or Kemka Sokajindo though its common name is Shaolin Kempo. I am at yellow sash, and evan though that is a low grade, I still know a little about my style and would like your oppinion on my style.

Shaolin Kempo's system is based mainly around close in-fighting technigues and short, strong attacking moves. Low kicks, evasion and counter attacking rather then direct blocking. Though this was just a brief discription, more can be found by reasearch. I was just wondering if this is a popular style and your oppinion.

Very well known style on the East Coast of the USA. He is more well known for his business acumen than his martial arts skill.
