Tornado kick - 10/19/05 04:03 PM

I've heard the tornado kick called a few different ways in Mandarin. The first is a literal translation of it, or roughly "hsuen fong tui". I've also heard it being refered to as something that sounds like "pinma, or punma".

I'm usually pretty good at hearing an MA term in non-fluent chinese accent and making a guess as to what the actual words are, and mean. But with pinma, or punma, I really just have no guess. Anyone know anything about this?

I'd also be interested in the mandarin terms for roundhouse and crescent kick.

I'd call it Toothless Tiger, whatever the mandarin translation of that would be...
