School Names? - 10/13/06 02:22 PM

I was wondering 'what's in a name'. I mean do you really care what that name of your school is? Does your school even have a name? I have been thinking about this lately because a friend and I might be starting a school.

I don't know what to name it or if a name is really that necessary. I am not talking about style names but the school itself. So what would you name a school? This one was the first thing that came to mind - Dzikiy and Miller Karate - our last names. I don't even know if I like it or not but any help one this subject would be great.

I like Dzikiy-Do. No its funny but I think I am just going to call it something plain. Like Karate or Karateka. I really don't think the name of the school matters. Most schools around me don't even have names other then the teachers name.

I teach Shotokan mainly.
