Kyokushin questions - 09/03/06 11:58 AM

I used to do Tae Kwon Do a long time ago, and I've been looking through other martial arts, the one appealing to me most being Kyokushin Karate. I live in kansas, so martial arts are limited here. I was wondering if anyone knew of any Kyokushin schools in KS, and if I should start off with Kyokushin or some other problem. I'm used to being very active, so that wouldn't be a problem. I lift weights regularly, and I want a martial art with strenuous physical activity.

I was also wondering if there are other martial arts around that may be more common which use the aspect of Kyokushin which I was most interested in, which is of course the full-contact no-protection sparring.

Can anyone answer me these questions?

Thanks!

Hi welcome to the forums.

I couldn't find a Kyokushin school in Kansas, but I did find an Enshin school:

Enshin is a variant of Kyokushin. Here is some more info:
