Krav Maga in the UK

Krav Maga in the UK - 11/02/07 06:18 AM

Hi, I currently train in Systema and I did a couple of years kickboxing. I'm interested in learning Krav Maga but I can't find any local instructors. Is there a list online of certified instructors in the UK? I've "googled" it but not had much luck.

Cheers.

Thanks for the link, as I thought no one teaches Krav Maga in my area. I was lucky to find a local systema class. Can anyone suggest a reading reference for krav maga??

Cheers.

Thanks I've ordered that book, won't replace real training but it's better than nothing I guess.

I received my book on Saturday morning, so far I've only read the "Yellow Belt" section.. a lot of what I've read I've had some exposure to during my kickboxing training (basic punches and kicks). I do like the escape method for choke holds and actually seems simplier than some of the escape methods I know from Systema.

Looking forward to reading more, might sneak a few of the techniques into my next systema class to see if they work any better.

I got that book too, its good reading, it shows how much Krav Maga uses from traditional Martial arts
