IMO the following are great.

Yaraguwa no Tonfa, performed by Nakamori of the Bunbukan.

Ryuei-ryu TIMBE-jutsu performed by Matsuda Takeshi on Manza Beach, Okinawa. The speciality of this style is the use of a baton, instead of a machete or short spear, which is the usual companion to the Tinbe (the shield).

Hi Narda,

Yes basic tonfa technique is identical with karate technique, so the second you pick them up you're ready to rock and roll, of course there is a bit more too.
