What are people's opinions of whether a blade used for cutting should have a bohi? I've heard that this weakens it, but I can only attribute this to the the fact that it may be CARVED out. That may make it weaker, but if the blade is forged or moulded with a bohi, wouldn't physics make it STRONGER?
Also, people say that that the bohi is only a recent invention, but there are instances of blades with bohi about 500 years ago.
