How do you prevent the warping of wood, say a bo staff in perticular. If it is all ready begining to warpe, is there a way to restore its normal state? Thanks in advance

two main things. One never store it upright in the corner. Thats a one way ticket to banana town. Next, always keep it dry.

There are ways to straighten wood that has bent already. It can be steamed and placed in a jig to straighten. You can also pour very hot water over your bo and use body weight to try to get the bend out. The main thing to make sure is that you get the wood hot enough to soften the lignin (the part between the cellulose) and then when the lignin rehardens it needs to be in a straight position. Just dont burn yourself.
