Recruting and Retaining Karate Students

In a smallish college town, any ideas?

I don't have alot of money right now for advertising, and I honestly don't want that many more students, but right now it shifts from 2 to 5 for the adult class if i'm lucky, and i'd like a few more.

Have you considered going to the college and seeing if you could teach a Karate class as community education? Otherwise I don't really know, maybe an open to the public seminar?

Yeah i've been doing that, no takers from em quite yet, but I also didnt include the little tear-off thingies with contact info, need to update them.
