Which academy is good for me?

I am interested in training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai and it just so happens that there is an academy for both of those in my city. But how do I know they are worth while? Are there any general or specific questions I can ask to find out if it will be worth the money and time to train there?
