hearing impaired students

I have some familiarity with American Sign Language from use in church and hospital. Now there is a hearing impaired student in the school that uses a combination of hearing aid and sign. I wanted to know if anyone knew if there were standard signs for the martial arts vocabulary. We will quite naturally develop our own anyway in a natural way, however, if there are standard signs, using them would be my first choice.
