I take shaolin Kung-Fu. Whilst i havent applied any of it in a real life situation, most of the stuff i learn is geared towards how to deal with a street fight or how to avoid one. So yes, i believe kung fu can be applied quite easily in that respect.
And dude, you seem alittle bit too topic happy. Three topics in how long? Just an observation.

Absolutely...Just remember that application is style dependent. There are too many styles of kung fu to list, some are more applicable to street fighting than others.
