This is one of my favorite stories cause it actually made sense. It's one thing to read about martial arts masters finding enlightenment, but when it happens to you it makes more sense.
I'm finally enjoying Judo, but I've alwayshad difficulty in it. I can defend against any throw but I really wanted to learn how to throw. A friend of mine invited few of us after class to go to his Dojo. It's been know to be not only extreme, but a magnificent work out. So a few of us agreed to go.
Arriving there it was a new experiance. We were all schooled in how to present ourselves but it was just a new experiance. After a great workout, we ended up in a slaghter line in which were packed with brown and blackbelts. Being the only white belts there we were in for a workout. The blackbelts were very nice, making conversation with us while randori while the brownbelts wanted to introduce us to the laws of gravity.
After being tossed by almost everyone in the line, I ended up with the only woman there. She moved like the wind and she and looked like she wanted to make me hurt. My rule is simple, if your in a gi I'm taking you on. We worked and struggled against each other. We check each others throws and disappeared when the other came in. We were matched. I have never worked so hard.
All of a sudden a small brown moth landed on her lapel near my hand. I glanced at it. Not wanting to crush it I let go of her lapel and brushed it gently off her. I then looked up into her eyes. I noticed that she wasn't only a judoka, she wasn't only a brownbelt, but that she was very beautiful. Rich black hair began to spill from her bun. Her eyes were of the softest brown. Her lips were....
Slam! She tossed me well. Everything happened in a few seconds. She only needed one. I finally relearned an old lesson in having a clear mind that can not be clouded. Keep you mind people or else you'll be reminded where you are.
