The 3rd. World Cup of Chinese Kungfu (The 3 rd Sanshou World Cup) is coming soon. It will be held in September 22 , 2006 in Xi'an. Mr. Lijie, Chairman of Chinese Wushu Association , song high price for it as one of the most important action of International Wushu Federation (IWUF) to develop commercial value of Athletic Wushu.
This event was sponsored jointly by the Chinese Wushu Association. For Wushu, this is a very prestigious event, with all the top Chinese dignitaries being present. The 1st World Sanshou Cup was held in Shanghai , und 2nd in Guangzhou .
In all 24 countries and ca. 70 competitors will take part in the competition. The prize money for the fighters:
1st place 10 , 000 Yuan
2nd place 6000 Yuan
3rd place 3000 Yuan - there were two third places.
